All you need is just the setup of windows that you want to install in your laptop. For example we are installing windows 8, so we should have the setup of windows 8 either in DVD or in pen drive(bootable). Now just insert the DVD into the laptop and shutdown it, then start it and press F2 button to open boot menu and then select DVD read option from it and then .....
save and quit. Now your laptop is reading the DVD and the setup of windows thus the setup will start and press next or continue and install the windows in the drive (remember that the partition or drive in which you are installing windows has format of NTFS) then continue and wait till the 100% process completes.....
Thats all you need to do and your windows is installed.....
